Skin Care

Hellooo lovelies, it feels like forever since I last blogged. I have been very busy with work and everything else going on in my life but I have missed blogging so much and definitely want to start blogging regularly again. My make up looks have changed a lot since last year but this blog is going to be mainly about how I look after my skin.

I have never really suffered from really bad skin but I do get spots and breakouts. Having older sisters means I get to use all their skin care and make up so I have tried and tested a lot of different products over the years but never really stuck to one product that I thought worked best for me until recently.

My daily morning routine is pretty simple as I just wash my face with water and apply my Nivea face cream followed by my make up. But on the weekends I like to pamper myself and use face masks. The one I have been loving recently is the Bodyshop warming mineral face mask which heats up as you apply it on your face and leaves the skin feeling super soft and refreshed!

In the evening after I have removed my make up with my Simple make up wipes I like to gently ex-foliate my face with the Bodyshop face exfoliater to remove any left over make up residue, I then wash my face with cold water and apply the Genorganica Argan oil to moisturise my face.

Since hearing loads of You-tubers rave on about how they love using Argan oil on their face I really wanted to try it and finally have. I must say it does have great benefits and you can use it everywhere, on your face, hair and body as it is very nourishing and hydrating. if you suffer from dry skin then this is a great product as you can apply it as a base coat before your make up to give you that extra glow. I prefer not to use this in the morning as I have quite oily skin and this would just add more oil to my face. I am still yet to discover something that stops my face from getting greasy throughout the day.

I also like to use an ex-foliating scrub about twice a week as this helps remove any oils as well as cleanse out my pores which can lead to spots. This face scrub is by Premier, a Dead Sea collection of products, I also have a Dead Sea salt body scrub which I use about once to twice a week and it really does work wonders.
I have recently started using the skin repair oil also by Genorganica and already love it. It doesn't make your skin feel greasy and is really making a difference for me as my skin tone is already starting to appear more even. I have a bad habit of picking my spots so this has definitely been helping to reduce the marks left on my face as it contains natural healing qualities, ideal for removing scars and skin blemishes.

The Genorganica range offers a variety of different oils for different skin types. I would highly recommend their products as they have made a big difference to my skin. Check out their website and Facebook page which I have linked below to find out more about the different types of oils they do... but for now...

Goodnight
xoxo
