Look of the Day - Grey

Helllooo everyone :) Hope you're all doing well, been super busy recently and I actually did this make up look a while ago for a Hen do but didn't take any pictures of my eye so I redid it for my blog.
For this look I started with my usual foundation routine then applied my Urban Decay eye shadow primer in shade champagne over my eye lid and then applied eye shadow from my MUA eye-shadow palette all over my eye lid and highlighted my brow bone with a creamy shadow. I then applied liquid liner on my top lid winging it out and lined my tight line with my FX black eye pencil. For my bottom lash line I wanted some colour so applied a greyish eye shadow from one of my Sleek palettes using my eye shadow to liner transformer which is amazing. All you do is dip the clear brush in the eye shadow which makes it into a creamy consistency that makes it super easy to apply on the lid as liner or in this case below my waterline which I extended the into my top liner. You can also use a thin brush to get the same look but I find with this I don't get any fall out and the lines is much smoother. I then coated my top lashes with my Falsies mascara.
So as you already know I am in love with the red lip and cheek stain by BodyShop and when I first bought this they also did it in a bronze colour which I was not to keen on but I recently purchased this and it is soooo gorgeous! The colour it leave is like a pinky golden bronzed look which is perfect for the cheeks this summer. This is what I have, on my cheeks in this look.
Lip and Cheek Stain in shade Bronze Glimmer by BodyShop - £10.00
Although am not really a lip gloss person as I prefer lipsticks but my sister bought these H&M lip glosses and when I saw them I had to have them all!! They are super pigmented and not sticky, great by themselves and on top of a lipstick. Am wearing the red one here with my red lip and cheek stain underneath as I put that on before anything on my lips.
H&M Lipgloss - £2.99
Enjoy! :)

Kuvou the Kitten

Heyyyy allll, I hope you're all doing great, its been a busy few weeks! More snow, what is going on with the weather, where is the sun?? I have pending blogs to do on my looks of the day but not had a chance to actually write them out to publish because I got a little baby kitten which has now taken over my life! But in a good way and his so cute I just want to eat him, but I wont :)
I have always wanted one since I was little and my mum always said no so I just decided to get one anyway and bring him home. Worked out great as I got my kitty and mum now likes him, how can you not like such a cute little face!! He is such a handful though as he just wants to play and is so naughty but I enjoy looking after him and having something to do :)
Anyway I will blog soon when am not being distracted by the little munchkin because as soon as I get my laptop out he gets on top of it. Oh and his obsessed with feet. Ok am talking about him too much lol so am going to leave it here!!

Goodnight

Look of the Day - Rose

Happy Love Day in advance everyone, even those of you who don't celebrate it, am not really a believer of the day as you should express your love to your loved ones daily :) But who can resist the cute novelty valentines day things =D So I did this valentines inspired make up look and it consists of my favourite colour palette, pinks and reds!!
After I put my foundation on I then concealed under my eyes and also used my concealer on my forehead and chin to highlight it and then powdered my face. I then primed my eyes with my Urban Decay eye shadow primer.
For my eyes I used this gorgeous sleek palette (good girl palette) which I have had for agesss that my sister gave me but I've not had a chance to use it yet as its not colours I would use on a daily basis but how perfect is this for love day! I am loving all the colours in it! So I started by using the colour candy floss (third one from left;top) all over my eye lid and then used the darker pink (second one from right;top) on the crease on my eye lid. To highlight my brow bone I used the shimmery glitter eye shadow (first one from left;top) which added some sparkle to the eyes. I then lined my tightline with my FX black eye pencil and used my BodyShop eye liner to line my top lash line winging it out at the end, with the eye liner I also lined half my waterline connecting it to my top liner. I used the liquid liner instead of a pencil as I find this stays on longer. Then using my Falsies Maybelline mascara I coated my top lashes.
For my cheeks I used this pretty coral pink blusher from BodyShop (shade 03) which has a gorgeous shimmer to it. Finishing off with my lips, I used my MUA lipstick in shade 08 which is such a pretty red shade with glitter in which I absolutely love and have been wearing a lot lately. This look is a bit barbie like which I love and think is perfect for a valentines day/evening look. Enjoy!

Have a loveeely Valentines Day :)
Much love

Look of the Day - Berrylicious

Hellooo, it's been so sunny recently but still super cold. This is a colour I have been a tad bit obsessed with over autumn/winter, anything berry and burgundy toned I am loving! So this look is all about dark berry lips, a very popular trend these last two seasons.

For this look I started off with priming my eyes using my Urban Decay primer potion after my usual foundation routine. I then used this gorgeous bronze eye shadow by MUA in shade 30-Pearl all over my eye lid, which is highly pigmented for such a cheap eye shadow,
I would definitely recommend MUA make up as I think they are really good for such a good price. Then from my H&M palette I applied the light purple shade (one at the bottom) on the crease of my eye lid above the bronze. Using a golden cream colour from this same palette I highlighted my brow bone and then lined my tight line and water line with my FX black eye pencil. I then coated my top and bottom lashes with my Falsies Volume Express mascara by Maybelline. For my cheeks I wanted to keep it simple and so I applied a golden bronzer which gave it a lovely shimmer but not too much colour, as the eyes and lips are very bold in this look, the cheeks needed to be subtle.
On my lips I first applied my BodyShop lip and cheek stain to give my lips a base then put Vaseline on. I find that this helps lip liners and lipsticks go on better. I lined my lips with this dark berry Kiko lip liner in shade 710 and also filled in my lips. Then went over it with my BodyShop lipstick in shade 62 which is a bit more of a burgundy shade, as a pose to the dark lip liner but they both compliment each other very well. As you all know I love dark lip colours!
Happy Monday :)
Enjoy

Look of the Day - Heaven and Earth

Hellooo lovelies :) Did you all enjoy the snow? I hope your answer was no :| Yes I know I sound boring but I am fed up of the snow, it was fun at first but now not very practical at all!! Not to add its freezing, so excited for summer!! OK my snow rant over lets get back to talking about make up...Hehe :p. I was not sure whether to blog this look as I wasn't very happy with how the pictures turned out because it's so gloomy outside the pictures are really bright which makes it very hard to see the actual make up. But I decided to blog it anyway so excuse the poor pictures and I will start using my SLR more for the pictures so they're more detailed.
This is a look perfect for winter, bit delayed but it's still winter so it counts, lol! Dark eyes and lips, slightly gothic but gorgeous. I have used quite a few new products for this look. After my foundation routine I contoured my cheeks with this Body Shop brown bronzer which is super old and am pretty sure they do not do this any more but I found it in my make up bag and thought it would be great for contouring. I then highlighted my cheekbones using my golden bronzer by Bodyshop.

Baked to Last Bronzer by BodyShop in Shade 02 Warm Glow- £16.00
Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 HR, On & On Bronze - £4.99
MUA Pro Palette Heaven and Earth - £4.00
For my eyes instead of a eye shadow primer as my base I used this creamy eye colour by Maybelline which is a lovely bronze colour, perfect if you're in a hurry and then using my MUA eye shadow palette I applied the darkest brown shade on the crease of my eye lid and applied the pinky brown shade on the inner corner of my eyes to brighten the look up and highlighted my brow bone with the lightest cream colour in the palette. I then lined my top lid in a thin line with my Rimmel liquid eye liner and lined my tight line and water line with my FX black eye pencil. Then using the same dark eye shadow as I used on my crease I lined below my water line smudging it into my water line. For my lashes I used the Falsies Volume Express mascara by Maybelline. Finally my favourite part of this look, the lips which I lined and filled in with my FX lip liner in shade Auburn which completed this earthy brown look.

Hope you're all well, Enjoy!

Look of the Day - Simple Everyday Make-up

Hellllooo :) Finally doing another look of the day after soo long, This is my usual everyday make up look that I would do to work and if am going out during the day although I do sometimes change it up and add top liner. But if am in a proper hurry to go out and do some errands or late for work I just wear foundation, blusher and lipstick.
So lets get started. After my foundation routine I applied my Urban Decay eye shadow primer in shade Sin all over my lid and also to highlight my brow bone as it has a golden shimmer to it plus it's a lot quicker when you're in a hurry. I then apply any eye shadow as I love my eye shadows, usually from my Naked palettes as the colours are a bit more suited to everyday wear. For this look I used the colour Sidecar which is a gorgeous shimmery nudey pink colour. Then using my FX black eye pencil I lined my tight-line as this makes my eyes look like they have eye liner on. Eyes almost complete I then applied lots of my now favourite mascara on my top lashes, the Falsies Flared mascara my Maybelline. I then filled in my brows using a slanted brush and brown eye shadow.
I usually use a bronzer on my cheeks or my lip and cheek stain that I sometimes use if am in a rush. In this case I used my trio blusher/bronzer from BodyShop. I can't seem to find this on their website to tell you the price but am sure I have seen it in the shop, I can't remember but worth checking out as I love this.I always use my lip stain on my lips before applying any lipstick as this makes my lipstick last longer and if throughout the day my lipstick comes off, my lips still have some colour on. As my eye make up is usually quite simple I love to add a bold lip colour as this makes me instantly feel more dressy and am not such a big fan of nude lips unless I do very dramatic eyes. So I opted for my signature red lips for this look which is one of fave colours to have on my lips all year round.

Enjoy

Happy New Year

Hellooo alll, I know its been too long since I last blogged but I have been so busy with work and family and I have not had the time to capture my looks or do anything that interesting other than my everyday make up look which I will probably do a blog about. But I am definitely going to start blogging again now that I have more time. Anywayy I hope you all had a lovely break and celebrations, also a very big happy new year to you all :)

I am loving all the winter looks and colours which I have been wanting to blog about for a while now so that will be coming soon!! =D Its been great having my family and their kids over but I have missed the peace and quiet lol. For my little nieces third birthday we had a fancy dress party which was so much fun and I dressed up as a cat and of course did cat eyes...Meow! I have not got any close ups of my eye make up to write step by step what I actually did but it involved a lot of eye liner. I will do a similar look to this minus the nose and whiskers to show you all as I did something different with my eye shadow. Oh and I chopped off my ombre ends as they got so dry and horrible and I have decided to grow out the colour in my hair and maybe be cutting my hair short.....hmm. Look of the day will be up as soon as am feeling better because am ill again, becoming the story of my life :(

Hope you have had a great day!
