Look of the Day - Party Animals

Heyy, finally got time to do my animal print eye make up, I did my two favourite animal prints (Zebra and leopard) One on each eye as I wanted to show you just how easy they can be. I know they look hard but in fact are very simple and look great!!
For this glam look I used my Naked palette to create the leopard print. This was so fun to do and I have done this look a few times before. After I put my foundation on I used my Urban Decay eye shadow primer which is a must for a heavy eye look as it keeps the eye shadow from creasing. I then applied the colour Half Baked all over my eye lid and used the colour Smog on my eye lid crease taking it half way up to my brow. I then used a creamy eye shadow to highlight my brow bone and used the colour Dark Horse on the outer crease of my lid to give it a slight smoky look. Then I used my Company liquid liner on my top lash line winging it out and also below my bottom lash line and filled in my waterline with the Company pencil liner. Using the same liquid liner I did half moon shapes on my eye lid like a leopard pattern and then added eye shadow in the colour Smog into the half moons to make them stand out more and give the print more detail. To make the look more glamorous I added gold glitter from my glitter eye liner below my liquid line and on the inner corner and outer corner. To finish the look I applied a few coats of my sisters Falsifeye mascara. False lashes would also compliment the look and make it more dressy. Finally I filled in my eye brows using a brown eye shadow. I am really loving the outcome and think it would make a great party look.
To create the zebra print I also started by priming my eye lid with the Urban Decay eye shadow primer and once again using my Naked palette did the base for my print. I used the colour Gunmetal all over my eye lid but to lighten the colour I applied Virgin on the inner corner of my eye lid and half way over my lid, lastly applying the colour Toasted to the outer corner of my lid giving the look more colour. I then used my Company eye liner both top and bottom to line my eyes but kept the flick short and used the pencil liner to fill in my water line. With the same liquid liner I did zebra like stripes on my eye lid and coated my lashes with the same Falsifeye mascara which I am actually starting to like as it adds a lot of volume to the lashes. The look of course would not be complete without some glitter so using my pink glitter liner I lined my bottom lash line below my eye liner and also along the stripes on my eye lid which I think has added colour to the look, plus I love glitter. Lastly I highlighted my brow bone using a creamy eye shadow and filled in my eye brows with a brown eye shadow.
This is the first time I have tried doing zebra print on my eyes and although zebra print is my all time favourite print I think I prefer the leopard look as its more of a neutral look in terms of the colours and a look I have worn before but I still do love the zebra print look as its got pink in and something I would definitely do again, Hope you enjoy these two looks as I had sooo much fun creating them both, great for a night out :)

Look of the Day - Peach and Blueberry

Helllooo all :) Hope you are all doing well! How long has it been since my last look of the day, far too long. This look was especially for my degree show. An exhibition to showcase the final work of all the art and design students which resulted in a fantastic evening :)

I did this look by firstly applying my urban decay eye shadow primer as a base, this really helps the eye shadow to last longer and not crease.
I then used a peach eye shadow from my sleek palette all over my lid and half way on my lower lash line. Then using a royal blue shadow I filled in the rest of my lower lash line and also the crease of my eye lid extending it to create a winged out effect. I then used my Company liquid eye liner on my top lash line winging the flick out to the point of my eye shadow. Finally I applied my sisters new mascara (Falsifeye False lash effect by number 17) on both my top and bottom lashes, not my usual favourite mascara as it's run out :( To complete the look I highlighted my brow bone using a creamy shadow and filled in my brows using a brown eye shadow. To compliment the look I finished with nude lips and a pinky bronzer on my cheeks.
The look would not be complete without matching nails...right :p I love painting my nails and trying new funky designs so I painted my nails Indigo by Barry M and added a gun metal colour stripe creating a half tone look. I love how it turned out and it did not take long at all.
Enjoy :)
